Marc McConnell

Chairman, Mr. McConnell joined the WTBT Board of Directors in 2009; Mr. McConnell serves as Vice-Chairman of Art’s-Way Manufacturing Co., Inc. of Armstrong, IA (NASDAQ: ARTW), President of Bauer Corporation of Wooster, OH, and Vice-Chairman of McConnell Holdings, Inc. of Kinston, NC, among other business interests.

Eric J. Bergevin

President & CEO of West Town Bank & Trust;  Mr. Bergevin’s prior experience includes: President and lead organizer of Albemarle Bank & Trust; Founder and Owner of New Vision Mortgage; President of Anova Financial Corporation; Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of OBA Bank.  Mr. Bergevin joined the WTBT Board of Directors in 2009.

James J. Kemp, Jr.

Attorney; Founder and Partner in the law firm of Kemp & Grzelakowski, Ltd.; Mr. Kemp’s prior experience includes General Counsel to the Illinois Commission of Savings and Loan Associations.  Mr. Kemp joined the WTBT Board of Directors in 1995 and has served as general counsel since 1990.

Joseph T. Snyder

Founder and President of Snyder Insurance and Financial Services; Mr. Snyder Joined the WTBT Board of Directors in 2009.


David Wicklund

David Wicklund is the Director of Educational and Advisory Services  at the Plansmith Corporation; prior experience includes former Senior Bank Examiner with the FDIC. While at the FDIC, Mr. Wicklund served as a capital markets subject matter expert and asset liability management specialist. Mr. Wicklund co-developed and served as a lead course instructor for the FDIC Corporate University's Asset/Liability Management School. He also developed the nation-wide materials and led train-the-trainer sessions for the FDIC's Evaluating Interest Rate Risk (IRR) Models training course. Mr. Wicklund joined the WTBT Board of Directors in 2013.

Jimmy E. Stallings

Retired; Founder of the Chowan Agency, a Farm Bureau Insurance company specializing in health, auto, home and life insurance, which grew to a multi-million dollar agency.  Mr. Stallings has been very active in both local and state industry organizations, has received many industry awards and designations including Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF).  Mr. Stallings has served on the Edenton Town Council for many years, having first been elected in 1999.  He currently serves as Mayor Pro Tem. Mr. Stallings also serves on the Edenton Chowan Partnership, a group of business leaders formed to promote economic development and growth for the county and the town.  Mr. Stallings joined the WTBT Board of Directors in 2014.

Sandra Warren

Sandra Warren is a native of Pitt County and began her career in the staffing industry with Mega Force Staffing Services where she grew her career from Branch Manager to Regional Vice President over eight years of employment.  Ms. Warren had the opportunity to open and oversee over 20 branch offices in 4 states for Mega Force prior to leaving in October of 1998.  In March of 1999 Ms. Warren opened Executive Personnel Group which she is currently the owner and General Manager.  Executive Personnel Group is a staffing/employment services specializing in the placement of clerical, administrative and professional employees.  Executive Personnel Group also maintains several large contact relationships with fortune 500 companies.  Ms. Warren oversees the day to day operations of 4 branch offices and 3 onsite offices with 20 branch employees and over 500 contract employees.  Ms. Warren currently serves on the Board of the Committee of 100 in Beaufort County and as President of the Board for The Montessori Preschool of Washington.
